We often forget how important it is to breathe. When doctors listen to the various sounds in our bodies, we have to breathe steadily for them to form an accurate opinion of what’s going on.
Our bodies breathe automatically, but our minds need more help. The more we stress, worry, and fuss over circumstances out of our control, the more important it is that we take time for our minds to relax, take a break, and breathe.
Read a book. Watch a movie. Find something that is pleasurably distracting. We all need to breathe. Now it’s your turn.
